Project Location(s): Karachi, Pakistan

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Job Responsibilities

  •   Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

    •   Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to candidate selection.

    •   Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires smoothly.

  •   Performance Management:

    •   Design and manage performance appraisal systems.

    •   Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms.

  •   Employee Relations:

    •   Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve conflicts amicably.

    •   Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.

  •   Policy Development & Compliance:

    •   Draft, update, and enforce HR policies in line with local Labor laws.

    •   Ensure organizational compliance with employment regulations.

  •   Training & Development:

    •   Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.

    •   Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

  •   Compensation & Benefits:

    •   Assist in developing competitive compensation structures.

    •   Manage employee benefits programs and address related inquiries.

  •   HR Metrics & Reporting:

    •   Maintain and analyze HR data to inform decision-making.

    •   Prepare regular reports on HR activities and outcomes.

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    • MBA or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).

    • Strong command of the MS Office Suite.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Preferred Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistani Labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience in organizational development and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
