Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
Risk Assessment & Compliance
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with workplace processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Policy Development & Implementation
Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and update QHSE documentation and records.
Training & Awareness
Conduct training sessions to educate employees on QHSE practices and protocols.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
Auditing & Continuous Improvement
Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
Incident Management
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers on QHSE matters.
Ensure that customer and regulatory expectations are met or exceeded.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
5–10 years in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
Proficiency in QHSE management systems, risk assessment tools, and audit methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
