Business Development & Client Engagement
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors, including contractors, consultants, developers, EPC companies, and industrial clients.
Promote the company’s inspection, verification, testing, and engineering design services across all disciplines (Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, HVAC).
Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and technical meetings to understand requirements and propose solutions.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.
Represent the company in seminars, exhibitions, and technical forums to enhance market visibility.
Proposal & Tender Management
Collaborate with technical teams to prepare EOIs, prequalification documents, technical proposals, and financial bids.
Ensure that proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and compliant with tender requirements.
Track and monitor tender announcements, bid submissions, and award status.
Support contract negotiations and handover of awarded projects to the operations and engineering teams.
Market Research & Strategic Growth
Conduct market intelligence activities to identify new clients, competitors, and emerging trends in the engineering and construction industry.
Provide management with actionable insights for business planning, sectoral growth, and service diversification.
Contribute to setting annual business targets and sectoral strategies.
Coordination & Reporting
Act as a liaison between clients and internal technical departments to ensure efficient communication and timely proposal delivery.
Maintain updated business development records, client database, and proposal tracker.
Provide weekly/monthly reports on new inquiries, proposals, business leads, and revenue forecasts.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized institution.
3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, technical sales, or client relations within the engineering, inspection, or construction sector.
Prior experience in promoting consultancy, inspection, design review, testing, or project management services will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of engineering disciplines — Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and HVAC.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and document preparation (EOIs, PQs, proposals).
Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate technical services into client benefits.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
