Job Responsibilities
Set up, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Install and configure network operating systems and software.
Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Identify and resolve connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages.
Perform routine network troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Monitor and respond to security threats, unauthorized access, and vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
Provide technical support to users experiencing network-related issues.
Assist in resolving connectivity and access problems for end-users.
Conduct training for staff on best practices for network usage and security.
Ensure regular data backups and develop disaster recovery plans.
Test backup systems and restore procedures periodically.
Respond to emergencies to minimize network downtime.
Evaluate network performance and suggest improvements for speed and efficiency.
Optimize bandwidth usage and resource allocation to support business needs.
Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and security compliance.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Fresher or a few months of experience in the relevant industry.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 & 2019, experience with switches, routers, and firewalls.
