Job Purpose
To lead, manage, and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across the project to ensure zero harm objectives, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Engro’s corporate HSE standards.

Project Location(s):Karachi, Pakistan
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a relevant discipline. NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent) certification – Mandatory
Develop and implement Project-Specific HSE Plan (PSHEP) in line with company and client requirements
Establish HSE objectives, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems
Lead hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and risk mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with local statutory laws and international best practices
Oversee HSE audits, inspections, and third-party assessments
Lead investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses; implement corrective/preventive actions
Prepare and submit HSE monthly reports to the client and management
Develop and test emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuation plans
Supervise HSE Engineers, Officers, and Safety Trainer
Promote safety culture and behavioral-based safety initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a relevant discipline
NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent) certification – Mandatory
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction projects (preferably high-rise or residential complexes)
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems
Excellent leadership, reporting, and communication skills
