Job Responsibilities
- Performance of NDT (Ferro-scanning, Schmidt hammer and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testing)
- and Destructive (Core extraction and testing)
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during testing procedures.
- Interpret test results accurately and assess the condition of the inspected components.
- Lead a team of NDT inspectors, assigning tasks, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and
- effective inspections.
- Develop inspection plans and schedules based on project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and
- thorough inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, test results, and recommendations
for maintenance or repairs.
Prioritize inspection tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs, diagrams, and test data.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of NDT procedures.
Review and verify the work of team members to ensure compliance with industry standards
and specifications.
Continuously assess and improve inspection techniques and methodologies to enhance overall
quality and efficiency.
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards during inspections.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4 – 6 years of experience in NDT & DT Inspection.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Revit or 3D will be plus. - Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
simultaneously. - Familiar with NDT standards such as ASTM C597, ASTM C803, ASTM C805, and ASTM C876,
ASTM C42/42M, etc.
