Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Job Responsibilities 

• Prepare maintenance plans for equipment overhaul, inspection, preventive maintenance programs/ corrective maintenance of Plant instrumentation. 
• Develop Maintenance Job plans and condition monitoring programs for Plant instrumentation. 
• Prepare and update maintenance practices in line with international standards and best industrial practices. 
• Prepare maintainable items / spare parts lists for maintenance of Plant instrumentation. 
• Review failure history of equipment and perform root cause analysis of equipment failure and outages. 
• Perform Equipment Reliability analysis as per international standards. 
• Prepare/ update of documents related to I&C discipline for Front End Engineering Design and Detailed Engineering design of Oil and gas projects. 
• Prepare and/or review Request for Quotations, Scope of Work, Technical specifications and datasheets of I&C Equipment. 
• Prepare / review Request for Quotations, Scope of Work, Technical specifications and datasheets of Mechanical Equipment. 
• Assist the proposal and estimation team while providing the bill of materials, engineering cost and resolving the queries asked by client related to technical offers. 
• Develop in-house, excel sheets in accordance with different codes/specifications/engineering practices. 
• Solve the design verification problems with Clients and Venders and attend all the design meetings. 
• Comply with all relevant Velosi Quality and HSE procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. 

As our ideal candidate, you should have: 

• BS Electrical/ Electronics degree (PEC certified). 
• Minimum 03-05 Years of Experience. 
• In depth knowledge of plant and equipment overhaul, inspection, preventive maintenance programs/ corrective maintenance of Plant instrumentation. 
• In depth knowledge of safety critical systems and safety instrumented systems. 
• Experience in reviewing, improving, and updating maintenance practices in line with international standards and industries best practices. 
• Experience in planning and organizing work execution, including testing and commissioning of new equipment / system. 
• Well familiar with process monitoring and control systems i.e. SCADA, DCS and PLC etc. 
• Well familiar with I&C equipment types, specifications and standards. 
• Operation and Maintenance knowledge of process Control Valves, Transmitters, Indicators, Analysers, Detectors and Elements etc. 
• Working knowledge of F&G devices and F&G Systems. 
• Well familiar with I&C equipment inspection, maintenance and troubleshoot procedures and maintainable items etc. 
• Software skills and well familiar with MS Office tools. 
• Good verbal and written communications skills. 
• Training in one of the following will be an advantage: 
• -Equipment and Personnel Safety 
• -HSE Awareness 
• -I&C Equipment Calibration and Commissioning
